Many cultures told different storys about King and Queens, Hunters, War heros, and other figures they saw in the sky. They told myths about them to teach about their history. Constellations are formed by stars that seem close to eachother in the sky. You can only see the shapes depending on your point of view. Most constellations we know come from Greece, But other cultures like egypt did the same thing but with people important to them. We divide constellations into 2 groups. Constellations that never rise or set we call circumpolar. We divide the rest into seasonal constellations. So you can be circumpolar or seasonal constellations depending on your latitude.

The Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, Perseus, Cepheus, Lyra, Pegasus, Aquila, Orion, Andromeda, Taurus, Canis Major, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Bootes, Saggittarius, and Scorpio.
